You need JavaScript enabled to view it Maddie came to SOAR after her family had a new baby and realized a backyard was not the place for this sweet girl. Maddie is a beautiful, little Airedale with a sweet, affectionate personality. She longs to be with her people and believes all laps belong to her. She shadows her foster mom and wants her place on the couch and bed. She is so loving and affectionate and just can’t get enough attention. She is very good with children and loves to play. Maddie rides well in a car but, again, prefers to be on a lap. She has no health issues and is fully vetted. Maddie is very puppy at two years old, which means she happily steals stuff and runs through the house wanting you to chase her (though she is not destructive). She jumps up on you, counter-surfs, is very curious, and must be involved in all activities (of course). Maddie is crate trained (she would prefer otherwise) and likes to go for walks though her walking straight skills are still in development! All in all, Maddie is a small, happy, young Airedale that needs a patient, ADT experienced home. We prefer someone who is home more than not, who has the time and experience to work with this sweet girl. She currently is allowed on furniture for snuggling and sleeps on the bed of her foster mom and dad. She is included in everything they do and she loves it. If you are an approved home and meet the suggested requirements, contact your SOAR representative to express an interest in Maddie. After that we would be glad to talk with you to see if we have a good match. Remember that Maddie is in Arkansas, so driving will be required to help transport her.
